Tutors can now access key information for their current students such as EHCPs, Risk Assessments and Annual Review Reports straight from LearnTrek via the ‘External Link’ button on the students profile.

The students we support have important and key information that our tutors need to know, from EHCPs to home addresses. Previously, these details have been difficult to locate- causing confusion and making our tutors’ job more difficult.
We are introducing an easy and simple way to access this data via the ‘Student Information for Tutors Portal’
To access the portal, go to any of your students and locate the external link button on the right hand side.
This link will take you to the portal log in page. As this is sensitive information it is password protected.
All you need to do is put in your email registered with BrightTeach, you will then get a one-time password sent to your email.
When you log into the portal, you will only see information with the students who you are currently working with.
You will see key/sensitive information such as address, parent contact details, EHCP plans, Risk Assessments.
You will also see who the manager of that student is. You might see that some information is missing or not updated, so don’t hesitate to reach out to that SEND Manager to discuss further.
Many tutors are doing this without fault. However, there are still many who are using this feature incorrectly.
