Tutors stop using Life On Time: 1st May

Tutors start using LearnTrek: 1st May

Welcome Aboard!

As of May 1st 2025, all tutors will need to STOP using Life On Time and start using our new system, LearnTrek.

Any reports you write on Life On Time from the 1st of May will not be used for all future reporting purposes.

Reporting will now be done on LearnTrek.

Some of you may have used this software before, which is great news. Others of you are yet to experience the brilliant functionality and tools available for logging on your students.

With improved safeguarding features and optimised multi-variable progress tracking capabilities, this software will provide tutors, parents, schools and support workers with an easy to use and informative overview of how our students are thriving under your care.

Concerns

We have provided training for all our tutors to attend in order to understand this new software, however we appreciate there may be some teething issues as both our tutors and BrightTeach get to grips with LearnTrek over the coming weeks.

Concerns we’d like to address:

• If I can’t complete a report for my session will I still get paid? Yes! We want to make sure you’re not missing out on any work you’ve completed for BrightTeach. This is why we’re asking all tutors to continue using the online Tutor Portal for logging their hours worked. Eventually, LearnTrek will also take the place of not just Life On Time, but also the online logging system within the tutor portal. However, if you feel you’re using LearnTrek incorrectly for reporting your hours or if you believe the system isn’t showing the correct information, don’t fear! Get in contact and we’ll solve the issue together.
• My timetable is wrong! This may be true! Internally, BrightTeach is implementing multiple NEW data processes and systems in order to get the most out of LearnTrek for our tutors. One of those is with regard to the timetables per tutor-student match. If you think your timetables on LearnTrek are incorrect, then please contact us so we can resolve the issue together.
• Why am I getting so many emails? LearnTrek will send a reminder email for every session you forget to log so we can maintain an up to date record of our sessions. However, you might be receiving emails for sessions you didn’t do, or for students you didn’t tutor, if this is the case just let us know .
