Updated: 25/06/2025
On LearnTrek, tutors no longer put their attendance in the free-text box in the Log tab, instead they put their attendance in the ‘Notes’ icon for the appropriate session in the Attendance tab. ‘Attendance’ in this case refers to the number of minutes you are present in a session for.

Last month, we moved from Life On Time and started using our new system, LearnTrek, for all session logs. We’re already seeing the benefits of this change as we see more granular progress data being generated for each student as their attendance, behaviour and engagement is being tracked.
In time, this data will also be paired with personalised targets, giving the student, parent and LA/school a thorough understanding on the impact of your hard work as changing the lives of these young people like never before.
Despite some expected teething problems getting everyone on board, it has been great to see our tutors rise to the challenge and manage the change so well!
Here’s a summary of the system changes we’ve made and are making.

Any reports you write on Life On Time from the 1st of May will not be used for all future reporting purposes.
Reporting will now be done on LearnTrek.
One adjustment we are making to streamline the logging process for our tutors is with regard to the ‘minutes’ text box.
Previously, we’ve asked tutors to add their minutes for the session into this box as seen below:

For more information on what to - and what not to - put in this box, please read our bulletin from last month: LearnTrek - Debut!
Going forward, tutors will now add their minutes to the ‘Note’ icon on the attendance tab.

This icon will only be available once you’ve filled out and saved your students attendance, behaviour and engagement data.
